What services will be provided at the Health and Wellness Center?
Virtua worked closely with local physicians and the township government to provide services that best meet the needs of the community. In fact, many of these programs are new to the area. The following services will be available:
- Ambulatory Surgery Center
Highly skilled surgeons will perform outpatient or same-day surgery using the latest technology.
- Fitness Center
Families can enjoy a unique work-out experience with state-of-the-art equipment at Virtua’s medically integrated fitness center.
- Urgent Care
The Health and Wellness Center will house an Urgent Care Center that provides timely and convenient treatment of minor, unexpected injuries and illnesses that might have traditionally been treated in the emergency room.
- High-Risk Pregnancy Center
Virtua is bringing world-class maternal-fetal medicine specialists to Washington Township to care for women with high-risk pregnancies.
- Diagnostic and Women's Imaging
The area’s top radiologists will provide radiology imaging services including X-rays and other tests using the latest, most advanced equipment. The specialized diagnostic center will also provide women with breast imaging services such as mammography and ultrasound.
- Radiation Oncology
The latest, most advanced radiation therapy will be provided so community members who are receiving radiation treatment for cancer will no longer have to travel for care.
- Cardiac Rehabilitation
The center will include fully monitored cardiac rehabilitation for those recovering from a cardiac episode or a heart procedure such as angioplasty or open heart surgery.
- Metabolic Center
Virtua will provide outpatient diabetes management for Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes as well as gestational diabetes through its diabetes program, which is accredited by the American Diabetes Association.
- Occupational Health
Through Virtua at Work, Virtua will provide local employers the full range of occupational health services from work place injury management to employee health and wellness.
- Lab and Pre-Admission Testing
Patients can undergo standard lab tests as requested by their physicians as well as tests needed for surgery or another procedure.
- Physical and Occupational Therapy
Virtua will provide a full range of physical, occupational and speech therapies to help those recovering from injuries or illnesses.
- Med Spa and Salon
Visitors can relax with a full range of spa services, as well as receive minor cosmetic procedures such as botox injections performed by medically trained professionals.
- Medical Office Suites

Parents using any of the services within the building can enjoy the benefit of onsite child care.
- Café
Visitors to the Virtua Health and Wellness Center will be able to enjoy a heart-healthy meal at its café.
- Conference Room Space
As part of Virtua's commitment to the community, it will offer community members usage of conference room space that is conveniently located within its new Health and Wellness Center.
